February Focus: Planning, Expanding, and Securing
Can you believe how quickly February has passed? It certainly flew by for me. We've had a lot going on this month and I thought I'd share a bit from behind the scenes.
Here is a quick update on what we have been focusing on this month:
1. Dialing in our strategic plan and getting traction.
At the end of last year, we started following the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) process. EOS is a set of concepts and tools that help businesses reach their goals by aligning all of its employees to the same objectives.
How many times have you created goals for your company, only to have most of them fall by the wayside because only the 3-5 people on the leadership team are working on them – or even know about them? EOS changes that.
Not only does it provide clarity to the whole organization for where you’re headed, but it also gets each employee working individually toward the organization’s overall plan. It requires our leadership team to be on the top of their game when it comes to goal setting, planning, and communication, but the progress we’ve seen so far is pretty cool.
Ask me more about this if you like – I love talking about it.
2. We are expanding into the building next door to us.
We’re sitting on top of each other in our current 8,000 square foot office space. Fortunately, the building next door came up for lease and we jumped on it. This will give us a total of 16,000 square feet between the two buildings. Everyone will finally have a place to sit!
Our Support Teams will start moving into the new space this Friday. It’s been a labor of love and we’re excited to see it come to life! If you want to come check it out, let me know and I’d be happy to give you a tour any time.
3. Our IT security programs are getting updated.
Everyone knows that IT security threats are one of the biggest issues for businesses today. The threats are only going to get worse and we’re not waiting to update our IT security programs.
We’ve developed IT security programs for almost any type of security process that a business could need – from basic protection to advanced security threat detection and compliance assistance. We’ll be letting everyone know their options in the next 30 days. Stay tuned.
I hope you have an awesome March!
